Coated Almond Ricciarelli tell of the union between the soft almond paste and the crunchy coating of 72% dark chocolate. A unique flavor born from the harmony between almonds, still ground slowly on stone today, and dark chocolate.
The Ricciarelli take their name from Ricciardello della Gherardesca who, on his return from the Crusades, brought back to Tuscany almond paste sweets, which had an immediate and undeniable success to this day.
The almond ricciarelli covered in dark chocolate are excellent alone or in combination with a passito with hints of raspberries, raspberries, black cherries and cherries. Thanks to the enveloping flavor reminiscent of the aromas of red fruit jam, it goes perfectly with almond paste combined with dark chocolate.
