The delicious smaller versions of the classic spaghetti, the spaghettini, are a format from southern Italy, especially from Naples. Hot or cold sauces based on fresh tomatoes, vegetables or aromatic herbs are tasty and suitable for this format. Quickly made sauces are also very good, with extra virgin olive oil and the addition of garlic, chilli, and anchovies. Fish sauces based on shellfish and seafood can also be combined excellently with spaghettini.
